What is Ultra Motion?

Ultra Motion is a modded Alight Motion APK with every premium feature unlocked. It imports and exports project packages above 5 MB, which no other mod can do. It fixes bugs that have been in the official app for years and are still not fixed today: group layer bugs, audio sync bugs, system compatibility bugs, and navigation bugs. It adds useful features the app always needed, like search bars in the sections that were missing them, and the live timeline: playback keeps running without a single pause while you scroll through the timeline, pinch to zoom it in and out, and move around your project. Perfect for showing off your timeline. On top of all that, it includes a large pack of extra effects collected from other popular Alight Motion mods, all combined in one app.

Is Ultra Motion completely free?

Yes. Ultra Motion has been free since 2023 and will stay free. There are no subscriptions, no memberships, and no paid special version. Ultra Motion is the special mod, and it has always been released for free.

How do I buy Ultra Motion?

You cannot, because it was never for sale. Ultra Motion has been completely free from the beginning. If someone sold it to you, you got scammed: ask them for a refund, then download the real Ultra Motion free from this site.

Why is Ultra Motion free? What is the catch?

There is no catch, and here is the honest, transparent answer. This website shows ads, the same ads almost everybody finds annoying. Those ads are the one and only thing that keeps Ultra Motion free, and that is the real reason we always ask you to turn off your ad blocker for this site. The modder has carried every cost since the beginning. Hosting, servers, tools, and the most expensive one of all: time. All of it out of love and passion, to help other mobile editors. The only thing asked in return is simple: visit this site in a browser without an ad blocker, so everything can stay free as it is. And a serious request to the people who spread the APK through their own links, or sell what is obviously free, and scam people who do not know better: stop, and be fair. That unfairness is the one thing that could someday force this mod to become paid. Be fair, and it never will be.

Is Ultra Motion safe to download?

Yes. Ultra Motion has proven its reputation since 2023. The mod is exactly what it says it is: the original app with premium unlocked, interface improvements, extra features, and bug fixes. Nothing else is inside. It also respects your privacy to the maximum, more than the official app does: the trackers and data collection built into the original app were completely removed.

Is this the official Ultra Motion site?

Yes, and it is the only one. Before you download anything, check that the address bar says ultramotionofficial.com. Any other spelling or any other address is a copycat site, and copycat sites can serve malware instead of the real Ultra Motion APK.

How do I install Ultra Motion?

Download the APK from the Download page and follow the short steps shown there. When the download finishes, open the file and install it.

Why does Ultra Motion need internet on the first launch?

That is a requirement of the original app, not something Ultra Motion added. On the very first launch, the app downloads the data it needs for the modern interface. If the first launch happens offline, the app waits for that check forever and stays stuck on the loading screen. So connect to the internet once, open the app, and after that Ultra Motion works fully offline.

What is the Clone version?

The Clone version is exactly the same app with one difference: the package name. That lets it install next to your current Alight Motion instead of replacing it. It exists for two reasons. First, you can try Ultra Motion without any risk to the projects in your current app. Second, you can keep both apps installed and compare them. The Original version uses the same package name as Alight Motion, so installing it fails until you uninstall Alight Motion first. With the Clone version there is nothing to uninstall and no risk of losing projects.

Do I need to uninstall the original Alight Motion app?

Only if you install the Original version, which replaces Alight Motion. Always back up all your projects before doing that. If you want to try the mod first without uninstalling anything, install the Clone version.

What features does Ultra Motion have?

Full premium unlocked, full dark mode, project package import and export above 5 MB, 497 extra effects in 20 organized categories, importing multiple XML files at once, 4K video import, HEVC export, frame rates up to 1920 fps, search bars, the live timeline, all original app bug fixes (group layers, audio, effect smearing, navigation, and more), and a large pack of extra effects from popular Alight Motion mods. And the list keeps growing.

Does Ultra Motion fix bugs from the original app?

Yes! The annoyances editors had to live with for years, because the developers ignored them, are finally fixed: group layer bugs, audio sync bugs, system compatibility bugs, navigation bugs, and more. If you ever find a bug that also exists in the original app, report it to the modder on Telegram.

Will my Alight Motion projects work in Ultra Motion?

Yes, in both directions: projects made in Alight Motion open in Ultra Motion, and projects made in Ultra Motion open in Alight Motion. One exception: the extra effects. A project that uses Ultra Motion extra effects will not play correctly in the original app, because those effects only exist in Ultra Motion.

How often is Ultra Motion updated?

Every new official Alight Motion release gets its Ultra Motion build, usually within a few days. To check your version, open the About page inside the app and compare the build ID and date with the latest official release. If a newer official release is out and there is no Ultra Motion update yet, tell the modder on Telegram.

Is Ultra Motion available for iOS?

No, and it never will be. There is no Ultra Motion IPA file and there never will be one. If you ever find a file or a website claiming to be Ultra Motion for iOS, stay away: it is fake, and it may carry malware. This is not about disliking iOS. Modding an IPA is a completely different thing from modding an APK, and it is beyond what is technically possible for the modder.

Does Ultra Motion work on Huawei phones, AOSP devices, and emulators?

Yes, all of them. Ultra Motion is the only Alight Motion mod in the world that adds specific support for Huawei phones, AOSP systems, other devices without Google services, and emulators. It runs on anything from Android 7.0 all the way up to Android 16.

Why does my antivirus flag the APK?

This mostly happens when a phone uses a third party antivirus app instead of Google Play Protect. Those apps are prone to false positives on modded APK files. A detection on the official Ultra Motion APK is a false positive. For a second opinion, scan the file on VirusTotal before installing: when only a few engines out of dozens flag it, that is the classic sign of a false positive.

What is the difference between Ultra Motion and mods like Toji Motion or After Motion?

Other mods have exactly one thing to offer: extra effects. Ultra Motion offers full dark mode, almost all of their extra effects with cleaner, more premium implementations, useful features the app never had, original app bug fixes, and much more. All of it completely free.
